Joanna Aliano is a Brazilian illustrator, filmmaker and sometimes photographer based in Brooklyn.
She is the co-founder of Opposite Sea Productions, with her documentary partner, Nina Thomas. Together they have created "Tiny Apple" documentary (set to be released in Spring 2021).
Some of her photography work includes regularly contributing to independent photography zine Spotz and photographing Annie Pichan’s self-titled debut album cover.
She is currently illustrating a children's book about tiny witches!
